Sumba-Lembata-East Flores Adventure, Culture, Tribe Tour (10D/9N)

Day 01: (Bali-Waingapu )

Arrive at Umbu Meang Kuda air port in Waingapu in East Sumba, you are welcomed by your guide then transfer to hotel for check inn. Afternoon take city tour visit Prailiu as the center of traditional weaving ikat and stone grave of the Prailiu King. Afternoon returns to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Elvin hotel or Tanto hotel.

Day 2:

(Waingapu- Rende-Waingapu )

After breakfast departure to visit Ama nai Tukang in Kalau, a community of sumbanese Weaver, here you can see the process of weaving ikat, and other traditional textiles with their different motif. Then continue to Pau and Rende village. Both Pau and Rende are royal hamlets and these tombs are an integral and very important part of life. In Kalala village you can have lunch box or local food prepared by a family after lunch walking for a while at white Sandy beaches, in the afternoon back to Waingapu en route can stop to make picture. Dinner and overnight at Tanto hotel or Elvin hotel.

Day : 3

(Waingapu -Anakalang- Waikabubak)

After breakfast drive Overland to Waikabubak in west Sumba. On the way stop at Waibaku and Pasungan (Anakalang Area) to see the greatest stone graves and traditional houses of west Sumbanese. On arrival at at Waikabubak lunch will be served at Sumba Ate Restaurant and afternoon visit Prai Ijing, Tarung and Tabar traditional villages then to local market to see the activity of local people in selling and buying their daily need and hand weaving. Dinner and overnight at Manandang hotel.

Day 4:

(Waikabubak- Kodi-Waikabubak)

After breakfast at hotel start to explore west part of Sumba. Drive to Kodi to visit Bondo Kodi and Ratenggaro for traditional tombs.Then walk along the beautiful and quite beaches of Tossi where picnic lunch is served. Afternoon visit Bondo Kawangu to meet Pasola Priester. Continue to Drive to Waikabubak. Dinner and overnight at Manandang Hotel.

Day 5:

(Waikabubak-Tambolaka-Kupang- Lewoleba)

After breakfast transfer to Tambolaka Airport to catch your flight to Kupang then to Lewoleba in Lembata island. After arriving at wunopito airport transfer to Palm Indah hotel. Dinner and overnight at Palm Indah hotel in Lewoleba.

Day 6:

(Lewoleba-Lamalera villagea)

After breakfast drive to Lamalera village on the way stop at Sabutobo hot spring and Lodovavo Waterfall In Atawai village. Lunch will be served at Atawai village then continue to Lamalera village. Dinner and overnight at homestay.

Day 7: Full Day Tour Lamalera

After breakfast enjoy your time to explore unique village surrunded by big stone and go to the beach to take the local boat to see the sperme whale, pilot whale, or other marine animals: dolphines, mantap Ray, sun fish/mola-mola and turtle. If you are lucky today you can witness how the indigneus people hunting and catching a whale only using traditional gear. Afternoon back to the village. Dinner and overnight at homestay.

Day : 8

Lamalera - Lewoleba - Maumere

After breakfast early morning drive to Lewoleba port to take boat to Larantuka. On your sailing you can enjoy nice view of tiny island and mountains and enjoy contact with local people. After arriving in Larantuka in east Flores drive to Maumere. On the way stop at Konga Rice field and to see Lewotobi volcano. Afternoon arrive at Maumere and check in at Coconut garden beach resort. Dinner and overnight at Coconut garden beach resort.

Day 9: after breakfast explore Watublapi village to enjoy traditional weaving in Flores and local dancing then visit Wuring fisherman village. Afternoon come back to coconut garden beach resort. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10. Frans seda airport - out

After breakfast drive to Frans Seda Airport in Maumere to take flight to Denpasar
